Rain is expected to ease this evening and clear overnight leaving a dry night with some clear spells. This will allow road surface temperatures to drop to around freezing.
There will be a full salting run from 1800 this evening.

Hopefully, vehicle owners in Sun Street will respect the 3.5 metre clearance neeeded to allow the gritters through and let salting take place.
