London Road Retail Park, Biggleswade - another branch of Boots?

It has been reported this week that a second branch of Boots could open up in Biggleswade.

LXB Retail Properties, the owners of London Road Retail Park have submitted a planning application to Central Bedfordshire Council, requesting permission to vary a condition of a previous planning application to allow a pharmacy to operate from part of Unit B.

In the application it states " The application seeks to vary condition 21 of the planning permission CB/13/04399/VOC to allow a pharmacy to operate from Unit B. The Unit is due to be occupied by Boots, who are taking a long term lease on the premises and therefore need to have the comfort that at some point they can have the ability to operate a pharmacy if they feel it would work and they are able to obtain a licence."
