Across the region waste collection crews are carrying out today's scheduled domestic and recycling waste collections; however with safety in mind some side roads are still too icy to access. If your road is affected, please leave your bin / bags out and the crews will attempt to catch up on these collections throughout the week.
We will also try to catch up on yesterday's residual and recycling collections, dependent on the road accessibility.
Today's food waste collections in the north will be collected as normal, however if your waste was scheduled for yesterday (Monday) it will now be collected next Monday. Any additional food waste can be left out in corn starch bags for collection.
There were no clinical collections made yesterday (Monday), therefore we will catch up on these this afternoon and throughout the week, where possible. Today's collections will go ahead as normal.
All garden waste collections continue to be suspended, with garden waste vehicles being utilised to catch up on all missed collections.
