Dear Sir / Madam,

PROPOSED DEMOLITION OF MEMORIAL HALL
Application CB/11/01495 & 1496

I think you should be made aware, if you are not already, at the local opposition to your proposals to demolish the Memorial Hall.

The Hall was constructed in memory of the soldiers who had fallen during the 1914-18 war, and part of the funding for the building came from public subscription.

It is felt that if the building does not meet your needs then you should move on and leave this building to the memory of our soldiers for which it was built, and have a thought for the local people who still remember their relatives who died in this conflict.

In planning terms, there is probably not a lot that anyone can do to stop you, but I would like you to consider the local adverse impact of your proposals and withdraw the application.

Yours faithfully,

Richard Mason
