London Road, Biggleswade - Outbuilding and Fuel Theft

Incident Type:
Outbuilding Burglary and Fuel Theft
Location:
London Road, Biggleswade.
Date and Time:
Between the 27th and 28th June.
Incident Details:
The offender has gained access to the rear garden.
An outbuilding had been left unlocked, allowing the offender to enter.
It is not yet known if any property has been taken.
A vehicle parked at the location has had the petrol cap removed.
A large amount of fuel has been syphoned from the tank.

Crime Reduction Advice:
Keep your outbuildings in good repair. Make sure that hinges and hasps are correctly fitted.
Use a good quality padlock to secure the door.
Ensure that you have good lighting that covers all areas of the property.

Park in well lit and public areas, if you have a garage please use it.
Be aware of any suspicious activity around parked vehicles.
Always check that it is correctly locked, and all valuables are removed, before leaving the vehicle.
We are particularly keen to hear about suspicious persons seen under vehicles, or with containers and syphoning equipment.
