Bedfordshire Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault in the early hours of Sunday February 19 which left a 23 year old man with facial injuries.
The incident happened just after midnight in London Road, Biggleswade, as the victim was walking home from a friend’s house. As he passed an alleyway, he heard some voices and as he glanced over to look where the voices were coming from he was struck in the face with an unknown object. The victim then ran home and called the police.
