Bedfordshire Police are appealing for sightings of a bright yellow van that was stolen following a house burglary in Ampthill yesterday (Wednesday 9 November).
The yellow Vauxhall Vivaro registration number KG05 DYJ was taken from outside a house in The Crescent where its owner was doing some work. The keys for the van had been left inside the house and were taken by offenders who broke into the property at around 2pm.
The driver, who was at the back of the property working, did not see those responsible but realised his van had gone 20 minutes later.
DC Martin Hynes, investigating said: “The victim was working at a property and his van is part of his business. Without it he is severely hampered as it and its contents are his livelihood. The van is bright yellow and there are not many Vivaro’s that colour so I am confident people may have seen it being driven around since yesterday. If you have any information that can help, please come forward.”
